ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Night Shift) in Akron, Ohio.

Night Shift, 3-12 hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, focusing on monitoring and treating patients with various medical conditions. The nurse will be responsible for thorough assessments, devising and implementing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, effective communication with patients and families regarding care and treatment options is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and medical history.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience

Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
