Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical/PCU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a 36-hour guarantee.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will integrate collaborative care planning for individual patients and implement nursing standards in the processes of care. This role requires dedication to patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide nursing care for medical surgical and PCU patients.
• Work collaboratively with a team consisting of LNA's, Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 at the most.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of current Medical Surgical experience.
• 2+ years of PCU/Stepdown experience is required.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• EPIC EMR experience is highly preferred.
• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
