IMC RN - Float Between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab

Night shift 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).

Job Description

We are seeking experienced IMC RNs who are capable of floating between IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units. The role requires flexibility and adaptability to manage a variety of patient conditions including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, and more. Candidates must be prepared to work during two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, or New Years Eve/New Years Day.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across IMC, Ortho, and Rehab units.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed.
