Emergency Department Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift (19:00 - 07:00), working three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least two years of ER experience. The ideal candidate will have combined adult and pediatric experience and the flexibility to work night shifts. The role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while managing a patient ratio of 1:4.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform triage and ICP monitoring as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory, radiology, and pharmacy services.
• Document patient care and assessments accurately using Meditech charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Experience with combined adult and pediatric patient populations.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Travel experience is required.
