ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with block scheduling not guaranteed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU. This role requires expertise in CRRT and Prismaflex, with a strong preference for candidates with cardiac experience. Floating to other units will be required as needed, excluding Behavioral Health and Emergency Room services, unless holding a patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient vitals and report changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as IABP, CRRT, and Ventriculostomy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the management of neurological and post-operative surgical patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting, with a preference for 4-5 years.
• Up-to-date AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Current, active NY RN license and all applicable active state licenses.
• Documented travel experience in nursing roles.
• Completed skills checklist specific to the ICU specialty.
• Driver's license with an address matching demographic information.
