Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts) with weekend hours every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. The facility operates as a specialized rehab center, focusing on providing high-quality care to adults undergoing rehabilitation after complex medical conditions. With 70% of patient cases coming from a Trauma Center, your expertise will greatly contribute to their recovery journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with high acuity rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement effective patient care plans.
• Assist with patient mobility, administer medications, and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members regarding changes in status.
• Help support nursing assistants and answer call lights to attend to patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 13 weeks of Epic experience is required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environments is preferred.
• Inpatient rehab or Med Surg experience is strongly preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
