Schedule

12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The facility specializes in rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and facilitate their return home as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with rehabilitation activities and ensure patient safety.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 care environment.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or medical-surgical settings preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must have at least 13 weeks of EPIC experience.
