Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Post-Operative Surgical Unit. This fast-paced unit specializes in the care of patients after various surgical procedures, ensuring they receive high-quality care through efficient time management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of post-operative surgical procedure sites.
• Wound care including packing, dressing changes, and wound vac management.
• Care for Foley catheters with continuous bladder irrigation.
• Ostomy appliance changes and maintenance.
• Insertion and suction of nasogastric tubes.
• Administration of Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
• Blood administration and central line care, including dressing changes.
• Conducting bedside shift reports.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
