Job Description

The RN will provide specialized care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), handling a diverse patient population with various neonatal conditions. This role demands strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to neonatal patients, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care as needed.
• Perform procedures such as IV insertion, whole body cooling, and high-frequency ventilation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement individualized care plans.
• Support families by providing education and emotional support during challenging times.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care NICU hospital experience.
• Active RN licensure in Kansas (KS).
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Preferred: Level IV NICU experience and prior Meditech experience.
