Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel RN for the Pediatric ICU (PICU). Our unit is a Level II Trauma center with a focus on providing high-quality care to our pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Handle critical care situations and exhibit strong problem-solving abilities under pressure.
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 during care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is preferred.
• APHON Pediatric Teaching Hospital Experience is a plus.
