Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN to join our Emergency Department team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing rapid assessments, and managing critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid assessments and comprehensive nursing evaluations
• Manage pain assessments and interventions
• Assist with sepsis and stroke screening and interventions
• Participate in trauma activations and multi-casualty incident responses
• Administer medications and assist with procedural sedation
• Provide pediatric emergency care and behavioral health crisis intervention
• Monitor vital signs, perform EKGs, and manage IV insertions and blood collections

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-2 years of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• Current certifications in BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPCC
• Trauma level 1 or level 2 experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus
