Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our dynamic Maternity Care Center. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, energetic, and equipped with a strong background in obstetrics. The unit consists of 9 labor and delivery rooms, 8 postpartum/GYN rooms, and 23 well-born nurseries, supported by over 50 staff members.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during labor and delivery.
• Perform cesarean sections and assist in post-partum and newborn care.
• Conduct OBED triage and inductions.
• Be part of a team that includes couplet nurses, birth response nurses, and scrub techs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• OB experience is mandatory.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications are required.
• Preferred experience as a cesarean section circulator, first assist, or scrub tech.
