Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical First Assistant with a focus on cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various surgical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and optimal surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Endoscopic Vein Harvesting using Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro.
• Provide first-assist support for open heart surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, and aorta repair.
• Maintain proper surgical techniques and protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and care.
• Participate in rotating on-call hours every third weekend and weekday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of independent Endoscopic Vein Harvest experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of Open Heart First Assist experience.
• Required certifications: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C.
