Cardiac First Assistant Tech - Contract Position

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Option for 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts, with on-call requirements (4-5 shifts a month) and weekend requirements to be determined.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac First Assistant Tech to join our surgical team. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures across various specialties, including general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, orthopedics, robotics, and vascular surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring that the surgical team operates efficiently and effectively.
• Perform duties in the main OR setting under the supervision of the surgical team.
• Handle equipment and assist in patient positioning, as required.
• Participate in maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of First Assist experience is required.
• Certifications: CSFA, CFA.
