Job Description

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a high-volume environment. The unit is known for its teamwork, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to serving a diverse patient population. You will be part of a leading healthcare facility, recognized for its clinical quality and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, with a typical patient ratio of 4:1.
• Coordinate care and collaborate with medical staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills and critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and improve patient care skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Must have current ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications before starting date.
• PALS and CPI certifications are required before starting date, with ENPC to be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Active RN license in North Carolina.
