Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) with potential variations depending on office needs. Shifts may include Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, 9 AM to 6 PM, or alternate weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a Skilled Home Health Registered Nurse with a strong background in infusion and home health care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care, and high-risk diagnoses management.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary assessments and manage basic wound care.
• Administer IV therapy, including starting and maintaining IVs, PICC line or Midline care.
• Conduct lab draws and venipunctures, utilizing glucometer and pro-time machines.
• Change and care for foley catheters and perform staple/suture removal.
• Manage wound vac dressing and Pleurx/Asept drain care.
• Deliver skilled home visits, averaging 6-8 per day.
• Document patient care using BayCare Forms and Ace Timesheet system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in skilled home care.
• Experience with OASIS training and documentation is required.
• Valid Florida RN license or Compact license is mandatory.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption is required.
• Flu shot or declination required, with mandatory mask wearing while on duty.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.
