Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week, primarily Monday through Friday, with some alternating weekend shifts as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide home health care services to patients in need. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in infusion therapy and a strong background in home health care, specifically in skilled nursing. This position requires a compassionate individual who can perform necessary medical assessments and care procedures in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments
• Perform basic wound care including ABI compression dressing and wound vac dressing
• Manage Pleurx/Asepto-drain care
• Administer foley catheter changes and care, along with staple/suture removal
• Utilize glucometer and pro-time machine for patient monitoring
• Administer SQ/IM injections and perform lab draws through venipuncture
• Provide IV therapy, including skills related to PICC line or Midline care and dressing changes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in home health care, with OASIS training
• Infusion experience is a must
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Florida or compact state
• Current BCLS certification
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
• COVID-19 vaccinated or valid exemption form on file
• Flu vaccination or declination required
