Registered Nurse - Home Health Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, with potential variations. Hours typically range from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM. Alternating weekend shifts may be required based on needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with infusion experience for home health care. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in skilled home care, including OASIS training and experience, to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments.
• Provide basic wound care and manage advanced wound vac dressing and Pleurx/Aseptdrain care.
• Perform foley catheter changes and care, staple/suture removal, and utilize glucometer and pro-time machine.
• Administer SQ and IM injections, draw labs via venipuncture, and provide IV skills, including PICC line or Midline care.
• Complete home skilled visits (6-8 per day) and manage time effectively to meet patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health care.
• Valid RN license in Florida or compact state required at the time of submission.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption is mandatory.
• Influenza vaccination or declination required; mask-wearing is mandatory at all times while at work.
