Skilled Home Health Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00); hours may vary based on the needs of the HomeCare office.

Job Description

The Skilled Home Health Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. The role involves assessing patients, implementing care plans, and performing various medical procedures. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a home health setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments and basic wound care.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy.
• Manage wound vacs and perform Pleurx/Aseptdrain care.
• Change and care for foley catheters, and perform staple/suture removal.
• Utilize glucometers and pro-time machines for patient monitoring.
• Conduct lab draws via venipuncture.
• Provide post-op care and patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Must have infusion experience and skilled home care experience.
• OASIS training and experience required.
• 1 year of recent patient care experience (within the last 3 months).
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for home visits.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved exemption) and flu vaccination (or declination).
