Registered Nurse - CVICU/CTICU

Schedule

This position requires 3 shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Cardio-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) or Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU). This role involves caring for patients undergoing fresh open heart cases post-operatively on day zero. The successful candidate will have experience with EPIC charting and be committed to providing high-quality clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage post-operative care for cardiac patients.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and patient management.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BSN degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid RN license required for submission.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• Experience working in a CVICU or CTICU setting.
