Shift: Night (19:00 - 07:30) - 3x12-Hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in critical care with experience in pediatric settings. The role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill infants and children, ensuring effective management of complex conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Provide care during procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish treatment plans.
• Assist with ventilator management and participate in emergency procedures, such as Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI).
• Care for patients requiring specialized equipment including CPAP/BiPAP and chest tubes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and care provided.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience.
• Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS (mandatory); NRP, CRRT (preferred).
• Compact nursing license must be active upon submission.
