Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Registered Nurse for a travel contract position. Candidates from non-Swedish facilities are eligible to apply after being separated for at least 3 months and must possess a compact license honored by all Swedish facilities. Orientation will be provided, and floating to NICU or other relevant units is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer breathing treatments and manage high-frequency vents, CPAP/BiPAP, and oscillators.
• Perform chest tube setup and care, as well as trach care and ventilator management.
• Administer blood and blood products and monitor central venous pressure (CVP).
• Handle procedural sedation and rapid sequence intubation (RSI) drugs safely.
• Provide care for pediatric patients in critical condition across various specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Ortho, and Post-Op/Pre-Op.
• Support and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and more.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with previous charge experience preferred.
• Active compact RN license required upon submission.
• Certifications: BLS, PALS (required), NRP and CRRT (preferred).
• Experience in pediatric critical care, including the ability to manage ventilated patients and perform pediatric dosage calculations.
