Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit

Schedule

NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 and 48 hours available per week.

1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other week. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract. No block scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Orthopedic Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while working night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the orthopedic unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent acute med-surg/telemetry, neuro, and orthopedic experience.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license is required.
• NIH Stroke certification and AHA BLS certification are mandatory.
