Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) position involves providing high-quality imaging services in an outpatient setting. The role requires the ability to perform various nuclear cardiology procedures as well as other imaging tasks as needed. The NMT will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during examinations, and will collaborate with the clinical team to deliver optimal care.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear cardiology procedures, including Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, and Pharmacological Stress tests.
• Conduct pulmonary, bone, renal, and GI imaging studies.
• Utilize SPECT technology for cardiac and other imaging applications.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using EPIC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in nuclear cardiology.
• Required certifications: ARRT(N) or CNMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology), and ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT).
• BLS certification required.
• Pending NJ license accepted.
