This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12 Hour Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM. 36 and 48 hours available per week, with options for 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a 37-bed facility. You will be expected to work flexible shifts in alignment with the facility's needs, including the possibility of floating to other units as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a med/surg/tele unit.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare personnel to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• May serve in a charge nurse role as needed.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience.
• At least 1 recent year in a med/surg/tele environment.
• Valid New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• For non-U.S. candidates, a minimum of 2 years of U.S. work history is required.
