Registered Nurse - Acute Care (12H Nights)

This position is for 12-hour night shifts, requiring weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our acute care unit, accommodating up to 30 beds. This position will involve monitoring and caring for patients with various diagnoses, ensuring high-quality patient care is delivered effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to individuals with conditions such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, pneumonia, and more.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including titrating heparin drips based on APTT results.
• Work collaboratively with charge nurses and nursing aides on the unit.
• Monitor telemetry data and respond to remote observations.
• Assist in the overall management and delivery of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) License
