Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days required every 6 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing, preferably with Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed, including triage and stabilization of patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and others.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications are required.
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Previous charge nurse experience and Level 2 trauma experience preferred.
