Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency nursing and will work effectively in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Emergency Department with a focus on combined adult and pediatrics.
• Handle emergency situations, including the management of dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction.
• Administer emergency medications, blood products, and perform procedural sedation administration.
• Conduct phlebotomy and IV placements as required.
• Work closely with IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, and social services to ensure seamless patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ER RN.
• Valid RN license in New York (required at time of submission).
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is mandatory.
