Day shifts are 3x12-hour, alternating between 07:00 - 19:00 and 11:00 - 23:00.

Job Description

An experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is needed to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires combining clinical skills with effective communication and critical thinking to manage patient care in the ER.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with various conditions in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications, including IV medications and blood products.
• Provide competency in phlebotomy and IV placement as required.
• Monitor patient status and intervene during emergencies.
• Float to other departments as needed based on census demands.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• New York State Registered Nurse license required.
• Experience with Epic documentation preferred.
