Cath Lab Technologist - Rotating Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating 4x10-hour day shifts between 07:00 - 17:30 and 09:30 - 20:00, with variability based on procedure completion. Team members will have consistent scheduling within each week, though shifts will change weekly.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will provide support in a dynamic procedure environment, performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. The role involves working effectively within a team to ensure quality care and optimal patient outcomes during lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of 20-25 cardiac cases daily across 4 to 5 labs.
• Proficiently scrub and monitor during coronary diagnostic/intervention procedures.
• Manage and prepare equipment required for procedures.
• Maintain safety protocols, including radiation safety, by wearing provided badges.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes coverage for one weekend every seven weeks and an evening shift weekly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience, with proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT or RCIS certification required (or in process); must possess an active South Carolina license.
• Radiation badge provided by the agency is mandatory; facility does not supply badges.
