PreOp/PACU/Pre-post Cath and Procedural RN Position

Shift: 9am-9pm, days vary, call and holidays required.

Job Description

The PreOp/PACU/Pre-post Cath and Procedural RN will be responsible for the recovery of both adult and pediatric patients following various surgical and procedural interventions. This role requires proficiency in managing a diverse range of cases including Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Urology, GYN, General Surgery, Plastics, Endoscopy, Ophthalmology, and Pre/Post Cath patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions during the recovery process.
• Provide exemplary nursing care to patients of all ages in PreOp and PACU settings.
• Administer medications and manage pain as per protocol.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and ensure safe patient transitions between care settings.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in PreOp, PACU, and procedural nursing preferred.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to be on call required.
