ARMStaffing is looking for an MRI Technologist, Advanced Medical Imaging (Full-time) in Bozeman, Montana.

Schedule/Shift

This position offers a full-time schedule of 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times that may vary, beginning as early as 6:00 a.m.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist I provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment. This role involves performing MRI procedures and related techniques to create images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. The technologist will operate a magnetic resonance scanner, adjust scanning parameters, and ensure high-quality images while minimizing unnecessary exposure.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.
• Assist Radiologists and other medical personnel during exams and procedures.
• Maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
• Document all required information for proper interpretation and retrieval of exams.
• Retrieve prior images and health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of MRI exams.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the MRI scanner and archival imaging data.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as outlined in the hospital's strategic plan.

Required Experience

• Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
• Previous experience in MRI is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• MRI Technician certification is required.
