Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Echo Tech for a travel position. You will join a team of dedicated professionals in a 272-bed acute care setting, performing echo procedures with an emphasis on patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of echocardiogram procedures including adult echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and bubble studies.
• Provide structured reporting on all procedures performed.
• Collaborate with a team of cardiac sonographers to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties, including two nights per week and rotating weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech.
• BLS and RCS certifications are mandatory.
• Pediatric experience is required, including the ability to perform basic scans on infants.
• Proficiency in transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and pediatric echoes is essential.
• Preferred: ARDMS certification and prior Meditech experience.
