Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

This position is for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist in a peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Candidates must possess ARRT Radiography certification, BLS certification, and a valid state license. A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, and familiarity with EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, aneurysm stenting, AVM embolization, and carotid stenting.
• Conduct line access operations such as port placements, PICC placements, and dialysis catheter placements.
• Carry out peripheral and body angiography.
• Support the diagnostic imaging processes by utilizing PACS and interdisciplinary team resources.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with varied 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. On-call duties may be required after hours and on weekends, rotating among staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology.
• ARRT R certification, ARRT VI is preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Active South Carolina Radiography State License.
