Inpatient Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Description

This role involves providing specialized and ongoing care to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses in a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting. The specialist will deliver comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop customized rehabilitation plans for patients.
• Implement and oversee therapy interventions tailored to individual recovery goals.
• Monitor and assess patients' progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families about the rehabilitation process and goals.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule from 08:00 to 16:30.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid licensure in a relevant rehabilitation specialty (PT, OT, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
