MRI Technologist - Weekend Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Saturday/Sunday 8am-8pm and Tuesday/Wednesday 3pm-11pm (40 hours total)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings, and proficient in scanning a variety of implanted devices, including non-conditional pacemakers. The MRI Technologist will have the opportunity to work with pediatric and sedated patients and should feel confident in transporting patients after hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans using advanced technology, including GE 1.5 Signa EchoSpeed, GE 1.5 Signa Voyager, GE 3T Signa Excite, and Hitachi (Fuji) Oasis Open Air.
• Ensure safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Administer contrast media when necessary.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and execution of imaging protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic information.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• Certifications: ARRT MR or ARMRIT required.
• BLS certification is essential.
