Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans tailored to patient needs, goals, and physician directions. This role includes delegating and directing therapy services, ensuring the effectiveness of treatment programs aimed at returning patients to community activities, and educating patients, families, students, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop detailed treatment plans.
• Document all care provided clearly and timely in compliance with clinical guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing supervision and educational development.
• Develop a personalized professional development plan with clinical management.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to professional ethical standards and performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• At least one year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule.
