Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans according to the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed to facilitate an effective return to community activities. The therapist will also serve as an educator to patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while performing other professional duties related to patient care and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and goals aimed at progressing patients towards discharge.
• Document medical records clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment and supervision.
• Engage in professional development to enhance skills and meet organizational objectives.
• Adhere to State Practice Act and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Demonstrate awareness of and contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience required.
• Current CPR certification required.
