Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Open Heart Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in open heart surgery and be proficient in scrubbing for various specialties including Orthopedic, Neurological, DaVinci robotic surgeries, General surgery, and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for open heart procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations by handling instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Participate in general cases when open heart cases are not scheduled.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain proper documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CST with open heart surgery experience.
• Ability to operate within multiple specialties including Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robotic, General, and Gyn.
