Registered Nurse - Cardiac Unit (Nights)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. No call requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will primarily work on the 4 South Cardiac unit and will occasionally float to various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Respiratory, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarders. The RN must possess a current proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to cardiac patients and supervise team members.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficient in Epic EMR (no refresher classes or 1:1 training options available)
