Job Description

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine and CT imaging procedures, adhering to all safety protocols and operational standards. The position requires accurate patient assessments and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine and CT imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Operate imaging equipment proficiently and conduct quality control checks.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nuclear medicine experience; CT experience is a plus.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification is accepted.
• Venipuncture experience is required.
• Experience with GE machines and EPIC EMR is preferred.
• Proof of skills checklist pertinent to the position, current to within 1 year.
• BLS certification required.
