Surgical Technologist

Schedule

Days: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with variability in start times, possibly starting as early as 6:00 AM. Early starts and late ends are rotated.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will manage sterile and non-sterile environments in the operating room, coordinating patient care and safety throughout the perioperative period. Responsibilities include circulating in various surgical specialties and assisting with scrubbing and first assist where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operating room environment to ensure sterility and safety.
• Coordinate patient care and workflow during surgical procedures.
• Circulate in surgeries covering General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics specialties.
• Assist with scrubbing and first assist duties as required.
• Participate in call duties two days a week and one weekend a month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Confident circulator skills in the OR settings.
• Experience in scrubbing and first assisting preferred.
