Registered Nurse (OR Circulator) - Surgical Services

Schedule

6:30 AM – 7 PM, 6-7 days per month including 1 weekend; shifts available in either 3x12 hour shifts or 4x10 hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as an OR Circulator in our surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have strong patient positioning, preparation for surgery, and equipment monitoring skills. This position requires a team player attitude and a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Monitor all equipment and patient status during surgical procedures.
• Assist with positioning of patients on the surgical bed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with surgical team members.
• Participate in the call schedule, expecting 4 to 5 call days per month.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Experience as OR Circulator with the ability to perform orthopedic, plastic, and podiatric surgeries preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in surgical settings strongly preferred.
