Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) - 12-Hour Shifts

Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, working 3x12-hour shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) who is ready to make an impact in our Children’s Hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients, ensuring quality practices and safety standards are met. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications, and working collaboratively with medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate families regarding the care needs of their children.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Float between units as needed, adhering to facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
• Certifications: BLS, PALS.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care and feeding methods.
