MedSurg RN - Night Shift

Schedule

Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) during weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The MedSurg RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. This role involves managing a diverse patient population with a range of diagnoses and ensuring a high standard of care through teamwork and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary care interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health maintenance.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg nursing experience required.
• Current RN License in West Virginia or Compact License.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
