Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15). Flexibility with weekends and holidays is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills, be capable of managing complex cardiac telemetry patients, and possess relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips
• Provide patient education and support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of cardiac telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• NIHSS certification is preferred
