ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Night Shift) in Wilson, North Carolina.

Schedule/Shift

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week with weekend requirements (Every other or Every third weekend).

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit, you will provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. You will utilize critical thinking and EKG interpretation skills while managing discharges and admissions and may oversee basic cardiac drips. You'll work in an environment equipped with advanced medical technologies, including Welch Allyn V/S machines, Hoyer lifts, Abbott Glucometers, and Baxter IV pumps, all operated through the Meditech electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a telemetry setting.
• Implement nursing care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Perform EKG interpretations and manage critical care protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR.

Required Experience

1.5+ years of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry or a related critical care environment.

Certifications/Licensure

Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Meditech experience is preferred.
