Dayshift: 06:00 AM - 06:30 PM, 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The RN will ensure patient safety, comfort, and provide timely assistance to the surgical team. The position requires the ability to adapt to varying workloads and operational needs, including possible reassignment to different units or care sites as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Compliance with health and safety requirements.
