Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a Night shift position, scheduled for 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty to provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical unit. The candidate should be well-versed in various common diagnoses and comfortable working in isolation settings, including specific protocols for COVID and Monkey Pox.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical environment.
• Adhere to isolation protocols as required for COVID, Monkey Pox, and additional isolations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in their status.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Medical-Surgical specialty.
• Current Nursing License verification through Nursys.
• Certification Card for relevant specialties.
• Skills Checklist demonstrating competency in nursing responsibilities.
• Professional references available upon request.
