RN - Operating Room Circulating Nurse

Schedule

0700 - 1630, with rotating days off. Call shifts required, including one weeknight call per week and one weekend call approximately every 6 to 7 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for the Operating Room who will serve as a Circulating Nurse. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in the operating room, particularly within a smaller facility. This role emphasizes collaboration and patient-centered care, as our team prides itself on effective teamwork and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinate activities and ensure readiness of the surgical suite.
• Maintain sterile techniques and uphold protocols.
• Support team members and contribute to room turnovers and efficient workflow.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including more than 5 years of circulating experience in the operating room.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required for on-call responsibilities.
• Experience in multiple service lines preferred, including Orthopedic, Urology, OB/GYN, General, and ENT surgeries.
